I live in Dallas with my wife, Samantha, and three active kiddos. In May, I graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master’s in Theology. It was the most expensive piece of paper I’ve ever purchased. The tuition was cheap compared to the sacrifice of time and effort. Yet, I count those five years of intense study as one of the greatest privileges of my life.
I have a passion for preaching and teaching God’s word and currently serve on staff at Lake Cities Community Church in Rowlett, TX. I find this somewhat humorous because I don’t really have a title and I’m not getting paid. But I count it a joy to serve there and learn and grow alongside great leadership and some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet on the planet.
I love hearing from readers, especially if you don’t agree with something I’ve written. I welcome you to join with me in the conversation.
